Donor Center Rules

Please be aware that this is not an exhaustive list of rules that our center staff enforces. Donors are asked to employ common sense and treat every individual with courtesy and respect while at our centers. Failure to follow the rules, or modify behavior after counseled by a staff member may result in a donation deferral.


  1. Donors are required to refrain from wearing sunglasses or earphones during the screening process.

  2. Donors are required to refrain from using a cell phone during the screening process.

  3. Donors are not allowed on the donor floor until invited by staff.

  4. Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed in the Donor Center.

  5. Donor rules are enforced by Donor Center staff at all times.

  6. Donors are required to follow the donor rules.

  7. Donors are required to remain awake and alert throughout the donation process.

  8. No eating, drinking, or gum chewing is allowed on the donor floor with the exception of Parachute provided items.

  9. Sunglasses are not permitted to cover the eyes on the donor floor.

    1. Note: If you would like to use lightly dinted glasses to help with light sensitivity, please notify a member of our team for approval.

  10. Hats are permitted on the donor floor if they do not cover the face and eyes.

  11. Religious headwear is permitted on the donor floor if it does not cover the face and eyes.

  12. Donors are not allowed to touch the medical equipment and supplies.
