Will a Protein Sample Visit End My Deferral?
If you are deferred and required to come in for a Protein Sample Visit, it is important to know that we can only end the deferral once we receive in-range test results.
Our full protein sample results can take up to 3 weeks to be shipped, tested, evaluated, and uploaded. The timing can vary based on a number of factors so we recommend keeping an eye out for in-app messaging that will alert you the moment there is an update.
If your results are passing, the in-app message will let you know the deferral has been lifted and you are able to schedule your next donation.
If your results are not passing, the in-app message will inform you that there has been an update and provide information on the next steps.
You are aways welcome to chat in with our Member Experience Team if you have any questions about your deferral or would like to get a status update on your test results. Just remember that we can not provide the specific results over chat, you will need to visit the center for those.
