Will there be any side effects during/after my donation?
Most people feel just fine, but everyone’s experience can be a little different. Staying hydrated and having a balanced meal—especially one with iron and protein—within 2 hours before your donation makes a big difference. Getting plenty of rest and maintaining a healthy diet also helps reduce the chances of feeling lightheaded or queasy.
